Construction process

1. Prepare wet construction machinery: prepare corresponding mortar spraying equipment according to the actual situation and needs on site.

2. Treatment of the original concrete base: Before spraying the polymer cement mortar, the old concrete surface should be chipped and the surface cleaned up. 1 hour before spraying, water should be sprayed to keep the sprayed surface fully wet.

3. Mixing with jet mortar: The water required for making mortar is 14.3-16.7% of the weight of the mortar, and the mixing time is ≥15 minutes until the mortar is mixed evenly. The mixed mortar should be allowed to stand for 1 minute and re-mixed for 10 seconds before construction. After the construction process begins, do not add additional water.

4. Spray the first layer of mortar on the surface of the structure: spray the first layer of mortar on the rough structure surface. The thickness of the first layer of mortar is 0.5cm. Make sure the smoothness of the mortar after application.

5. Carbon fiber grid cutting: cut the carbon fiber grid according to the actual needs of the project.

6. Lay the carbon fiber grid on the mortar: lay the carbon fiber grid on the surface of the first layer of mortar. The carbon fiber wire direction of the carbon fiber grid needs to be arranged according to the design direction, and the overlap width of the carbon fiber grid is 20cm. During paving, the ends need to be temporarily fixed; to ensure the smoothness of the entire surface of the carbon fiber grid after paving is completed. The carbon fiber grid needs to be pressed into the mortar layer with a trowel. It is necessary to ensure that the fibers of the reinforcing material are as tight as possible.

7. Spraying the second layer of mortar: After the carbon fiber grid is paved, the second layer of mortar can be mixed and sprayed. The thickness of the sprayed mortar is 1.0cm to ensure that there is no leakage of grid fibers The flatness of the entire concrete surface. The first layer and the second layer of mortar must be constructed on the same day. If the second layer of mortar fails to be constructed on the same day, the first layer of mortar needs to be roughened with a broom or low-pressure water gun until the aggregate is visible.

8. Surface smoothing: Use a trowel or scraper to smooth the surface mortar. If it is found that the thickness of the mortar does not meet the requirements, local repair is needed.
